About Rebeca
Rebeca came to us in April of 2021 from PetSmart where she has worked from 2020. Rebeca attended Universidad de Puerto Rico and got her Basic Grooming Certification in 2014. Moving on from that she completed another certification in Basic grooming in 2015 while volunteering at her local animal shelter to help prepare dogs for adoption.
In 2016 she worked at Servicios Veterinario de Dorado, based in Puerto Rico where she learned to deal with difficult, disabled and Sr dogs. Because of this experience she is well versed in dealing with and identifying skin issues and abnormalities.
Moving to Florida in 2020 she started working at PetSmart but was unable to find that “happy place” so many groomers strive to find in their career. Looking for a less stressful and more supporting environment that encourages continuing education and support of its groomers, she stumbled upon an ad on FaceBook for TenderCare.
Rebeca is excited to be part of a team that connects one on one with their clients, has the ability and tools to help pets with skin issues that plague Florida dogs and also supports its groomers in a way to lift them and assist in progressing their careers.
Outside of work Rebeca enjoys painting and has an artistic side that helps her with her grooming ability. She watches movies and explores Florida for both beautiful places and yummy new restaurants.
